Dr. Jay Pitroda is a Consultant Laparoscopic & Minimal Access / General Surgeon based in Gandhinagar. He completed his MBBS at Medical College Baroda (M.S. University) and his MS in General Surgery at B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, followed by fellowships in Minimal Access Surgery (F.M.A.S) and from the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons (F.I.A.G.E.S).
He has served as senior resident and assistant professor at leading Ahmedabad institutions including B.J. Medical College / Civil Hospital and N.H.L. Medical College / S.V.P. Hospital, and currently practises full-time at Advanced Superspeciality Hospital, Gandhinagar. His focus is minimally invasive surgery — smaller incisions, less pain and quicker return to normal life — delivered with clear communication and compassionate care.
